Meagan Kobielski

M.S. OTR/L, IPHM

Meagan is a NY state licensed occupational therapist that has been at Power of Movement since 2024. She earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College in 2013.

She has worked in the home-based, school-based, and private practice setting, helping children with ADHD, autism, chromosomal differences, and developmental delays build functional skills and participate more fully in daily routines through a play-based, developmentally informed approach.

Meagan has a particular interest in supporting self-regulation, attention, motor planning, and independence through practical strategies that fit naturally into a child’s everyday life. As a neurodivergent therapist herself, Meagan values collaboration with families and takes time to understand each child’s personality, unique needs, and strengths. Her goal is to help children feel capable and confident while giving caregivers tools they can use beyond therapy sessions.

Outside of work, Meagan runs Strong Paws Rescue, a nonprofit dog rescue. She enjoys giving back to her community, exploring new towns (usually with an iced coffee in hand), and spending time outdoors with her two dogs, Mia and Bucky.
