Does Power Of Movement Accept Insurance?

Power of Movement PT is an Insurance-friendly office that will work with Aetna, Anthem, BCBS, Cigna, The Empire Plan/NYSHIP, Oxford, and United Healthcare.  Our goal is to limit out-of-pocket expense incurred by our families and to achieve this, we handle setting up exemptions and will assist in appeals.

If approved for any insurance exemptions, payment required will be based on the insurance plan benefit, deductible and coverage.  For those that do not receive an exemption, Power of Movement Physical Therapy will be considered out-of-network. Our office will submit all claim forms, complete with diagnostic (ICD-10) and treatment (CPT) codes, to the insurance company as a courtesy.

What is the length of treatment sessions?

Individual sessions are 45 minutes and are one-on-one.

What is Power Of Movement’s Cancellation Policy?

24 hour notice is required.  Power of Movement understands that unexpected situations and sudden illnesses may arise, but asks that parent(s) and/or caregiver(s) respect and acknowledge that their child's time is reserved for their child and that a late cancellation does not allow ample time for the clinician to fill that time slot with another child who may have needed or wanted that time.  Power of Movement reserves the right to charge with less than 24 hours notice.
