Approval of an in-network exception is determined solely by the insurance carrier and cannot be guaranteed. Coverage and participation are subject to your specific insurance plan, eligibility, covered benefits, authorization requirements, and any applicable patient financial responsibility.
Which insurance plans and programs does Power of Movement not participate with?
Power of Movement is not enrolled as a participating provider with:
Anthem
Blue Cross Blue Shield
UMR
Medicaid Managed Care
New York State Medicaid
Because benefits and provider networks vary, families should contact their insurance carrier directly to determine whether their plan includes out-of-network benefits or another possible reimbursement option.
New York State and School-Based Programs
Power of Movement is a private pediatric therapy practice and does not provide services through New York State or school district programs, including:
Early Intervention
Committee on Preschool Special Education services (CPSE)
Committee on Special Education services (CSE)
Families may still choose to receive private physical or occupational therapy at Power of Movement. Private therapy services are separate from services authorized or funded through Early Intervention, CPSE, or CSE.
Private Pay / Out-of-Network
Families with out-of-network benefits may request copies of their Health Insurance Claim Forms (HICFs) to submit directly to their insurance carrier. Any reimbursement is determined solely by the family's insurance plan and is not guaranteed.
As a private pay practice, Power of Movement PT, P.C. does not communicate with insurance companies, obtain prior authorizations, submit insurance claims, appeal claim determinations, or participate in the insurance reimbursement process on behalf of families. Any requests for reimbursement are the sole responsibility of the family.
