Christine G. Erensen

PT, MSPT, C/NDT

Christine Erensen is a Pediatric Physical Therapist at Power of Movement Physical Therapy.  She is a New York and Connecticut State Licensed Physical Therapist.  Christine graduated in 1990 with a BS from Springfield College and a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Springfield College in 1991. 

 

Christine is certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (C/NDT) in pediatrics, completing her 8-week intensive training. Christine is an active member of the Neuro-Developmental Therapy Association (NDTA).

 

Christine started her career at Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center in CT where she worked with both children and adults with neurological and orthopedic conditions. At Easter Seals, she worked with children in both the Greenwich and Stamford School districts. She spent several years working in orthopedics and sports medicine before returning to pediatrics at Blythedale Children’s Hospital.  At Blythedale, she worked with a team of specialists to provide the best functional outcome for her clients including Physiatrists, Nursing, Orthopedics, OT, ST, and Special Educators.  She was involved in both orthotic and equipment clinics.  She treated children with a wide range of diagnosis and medical conditions from birth to 21.  For the past 17 years, Christine has worked in home-based and pre-school settings, working in early intervention and CPSE.  Christine loves watching the children she works with reach their highest potential and providing the family with the support and education on helping their children be the best they can be!
